[about]
Once Upon a Pool was a one-off arena concert in Taiwan for Sodagreen (then performing as Oaeen), conceived as a fully narrative, concept-driven live experience. Built around an album cycle and the band’s real journey, the show told the story of identity lost and reclaimed—reflecting the period in which they were separated from their original name, and the moment of finally getting it back.
The performance unfolded as a continuous visual and emotional arc, moving from the muddy waters of the pool into a dark chapter of uncertainty, where a devil-like figure embodied control and loss. From there, the world slowly opened into misty forests, sunlit hills, erupting volcanoes, storms, and finally the universe itself—populated by surreal space animals. The show resolved in light and clarity, culminating in a symbolic reveal of freedom, rebirth, and the return of the name Sodagreen.
